Grapple Worlds is a submission-only, no-gi grappling event showcasing some of the most exciting athletes competing in the UK and beyond. Two shows in, the standard has been set, and we're not done raising it.
Every event is built around one principle: to reward action. Cash submission bonuses on every fight, a format designed to keep the pace relentless, and a card assembled to deliver from the first bout to the last.
This is not a points competition. This is Grapple Worlds.

The rules are simple. Win by submission, or go to a judges' decision if there's no finish. No stalling. No playing for advantages. No riding out the clock.
The format exists to reward fighters who bring the fight, and to give the crowd exactly what they came for. Expect technical mastery, brutal scrambles, and moments that are difficult to explain to people who weren't in the room.
Grapple Worlds is an experience as much as it is an event.
A Growing Legacy.
Grapple Worlds launched on 5th July 2025 at Kassam Stadium, Oxford. The first show crowned three champions: Shane Curtis at 85kg, Jack Tyley at 77kg, and Douglas Dutra at 65kg, and introduced the Bristolian Bad Boys as the promotion's first ever quintet champions. It set the tone for everything that followed.
GW2 returned to Kassam Stadium on 28th March 2026 with a deeper card, a first-ever women's grand prix, and a night of competition that raised the bar in every direction. Aino Kartela became the promotion's first women's champion, Dominic Dillon submitted Douglas Dutra in a rematch to claim the 65kg belt, and Nottingham MMA took the quintet title from the Bristolian Bad Boys.
