A True Pioneer in Jiu-Jitsu
Brandon McCaghren is a name that resonates across the global Jiu-Jitsu community. As the first to bring the 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu system to the Southeastern United States, he’s built a legacy both on the mats and behind the microphone. His educational content has inspired and educated hundreds of thousands, with a loyal following on YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook.
But Brandon’s influence doesn’t stop at digital platforms. He’s the mastermind behind the Professional Grappling Federation, a unique sports league that’s raised the bar for professionalism and competitiveness in grappling. His expertise has seen him serve as a colour commentator for some of the sport’s most prestigious promotions, including UFC Fight Pass, ADCC, EBI, CJJ, AIGA, Subversiv, and the PGF.
A Wealth of Experience
Brandon’s credentials are second to none. He earned his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt under the legendary Eddie Bravo and was the first 10th Planet instructor in the entire Southeastern United States. His competitive record speaks for itself, with titles in Kakuto, Good Fight, IBJJF, NAGA, and even Freestyle Judo. Under his guidance, 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu Decatur was recognised as the top academy in the 10th Planet system in 2014, a testament to his leadership and teaching prowess.
Beyond competition, Brandon is a sought-after instructor, regularly hosting seminars across the United States and internationally. His ability to break down complex techniques and strategies has made him one of the most respected figures in the sport.
